Stuart Hall's Theory

Stuart Hall

Stuart Hall was born in kingston jamacia on the 3rd of February 1932, Stuart Hall was a cultural theorist and sociologist who lived and worked in the United Kingdom since 1951.

Stuart Halls theory was that "young people rebel because they dont want to turn out like there parents", In a rencent article in the Daily Mirror struat hall's theory was proved correct as the artical is based a good samaritan attacked with a knife after going to the aid of a pensioner shoved to the ground by a gang of teenagers who then urinated on him. The man, 30, pushed one yob out of the way after seeing them pick on their victim, in his 60s. But then they turned on him.

Here is a quote taken from the man that was attacked.
He said: “They were like a pack of wolves. I was tackled to the floor and the leader tried to stab me. He didn’t care if I died.”

  1. An interesting piece of text but it does not prove that young people behave like this because they wish to rebel against their parents! Choose a film or fictional text to prove this theory, Olivia.
Check your spellings carefully and use media language throughout.
